# Sign in using your Google account

**Purpose:**

This feature allows users to quickly and securely sign in to EzOM using their Google account. It streamlines the onboarding process by eliminating the need to create a new password, while still allowing users to complete their profile after authentication.

***

### 🚀 How to Use

You can sign in to EzOM using your Google account in just two steps.

***

#### 📝 Step-by-Step Guide

1️⃣ **Step 1:** Go to<https://ezom.app>

> On the screen, click the **“Sign in with Google”** button.

2️⃣ **Step 2:** Choose your Google account

> A Google login window will appear — select the account you'd like to use.
>
> ✅ If this is your **first time signing in**, you will be redirected to a form to **update your account information**.

***

#### 📝 Update Account Information

After choosing your Google account for the first time, you'll be taken to the following screen:

> Your Email is auto-filled.
>
> Enter your **First Name** and **Last Name**, then click **“Submit”** to complete your profile.

> ⚠️ This step is required only once — after initial sign-in.

***

#### ⚠️ If Account Already Exists

If your Google email is already linked to an EzOM account, you'll see some options:

* **Review Profile** → Back to **Update Account Information**
* **Add to Existing Account** → Start the linking process (see below)

***

#### 🔗 Add to Existing Account: Email Verification - Link email

After clicking **"Add to Existing Account"**, the system will ask you to **verify your email address** before linking your Google login:

> ⚠️ You need to verify your email address to link your account with Google.
>
> An email has been sent to your email with verification instructions.

If needed:

* Didn't receive the code? → **Click here** to resend it
* Already verified in another browser? → **Click here** to continue

> 🔐 This ensures that only legitimate users can link Google sign-in to an existing EzOM account.
