# Add a New Shipment Order

1️⃣ Click the Add shipment order button from the floating action menu

2️⃣ Fill in required details:

**Sender & Receiver Details**

**Sending From (Sender Information)**

| Field                | Description                  |
| -------------------- | ---------------------------- |
| Sender State         | State/Province of the sender |
| Sender City / Suburb | City or suburb of the sender |
| Sender Name          | Full name of the sender      |
| Sender Phone         | Contact phone number         |
| Sender Email         | Contact email address        |
| Sender Post Code     | Postal code of the sender    |
| Sender Company       | Company name (if applicable) |
| Sender House Number  | House/Unit number            |
| Sender Address       | Street address               |

**Sending To (Receiver Information)**

| Receiver State         | State/Province of the receiver |

**Package Information:**

Provide essential data for calculating shipping costs, determining courier eligibility, and ensuring safe package handling.

| Field                                       | Description                        |
| ------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------- |
| **Weight (kg)** *(required)*                | Package weight in kilograms        |
| **Length, Width, Height (cm)** *(required)* | Package dimensions in centimeters  |
| **Quantity** *(required)*                   | Number of identical packages       |
| **Package Type** *(required)*               | Choose: Carton, Pallet, or Skid    |
| **Description** *(optional)*                | Remarks or notes about the package |

Click **+ Add package** to include multiple package types in the same shipment.

**Shipment & Courier Details**

Connect each shipment to business orders and delivery operations for seamless end-to-end processing.

For each courier choice, customers can see the estimated cost and delivery time

| -------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------- |
| **Courier** *(required)*         | Choose from integrated service providers  |
| **Reference No.** *(optional)*   | Customer or internal reference number     |
| **Sales Order No.** *(required)* | Associates shipment with a sales record   |
| **Delivery Note** *(optional)*   | Any courier instructions or special notes |

3️⃣ Click **Create Shipment** to finish your progress

All required fields must be filled for successful submission. Errors will be flagged

For bulk creation, go to **Shipments > Courier shipments > Upload in batch**.
