# Order Automation

The **Order Automation** lets you configure rules to automatically handle the dispatch and fulfillment of your orders. By setting up automation for warehouse selection, courier assignment, SKU mapping, inventory sync, and fulfillment triggers, the system can process orders from creation to delivery without manual intervention.

### **Problem It Solves**

Handling dispatch and fulfillment manually can cause delays, inconsistencies, and errors, especially when dealing with high order volumes or multiple sales channels. This feature eliminates repetitive manual steps by:

* Automatically routing orders to the correct warehouse and courier.
* Keeping inventory synchronized across systems.
* Prioritizing order dispatch based on your defined rules.
* Triggering fulfillment actions as soon as dispatch criteria are met.

Merchants can save significant time, reduce human errors, and speed up order delivery, ensuring a smoother and more reliable fulfillment process for customers
{% endhint %}

You can access this feature in the top section of the Dashboard page

## Important Note

{% hint style="info" %}
Shipping channels will only appear if there are orders in the store
{% endhint %}

***

## **Getting Started**

1. Create a new order in your Shopify store.
2. Sync order
3. Enable automation in the Dashboard.
4. Monitor results in **Run History**.

For help, contact **<tech@ezom.app>**.

***

## **Overview**

The page is divided into **four main sections**:

1. **Run Now** – Trigger the automation immediately.
2. **Auto (Every 2hrs)** – Enable or disable scheduled automation runs.
3. **Run History** – View logs of past automation runs.
4. **Settings** – Configure automation preferences.

***

## Best Practice

* Keep **Auto (Every 2hrs)** enabled to ensure timely processing.
* Regularly check **Run History** to monitor failures and performance.
* Review **Settings** after major changes to order workflows or courier integrations.

2. Click **Run Now**.
3. The system will process orders immediately without waiting for the scheduled run.

{% hint style="info" %}
Use this when testing settings or handling urgent orders.

It requires user approval before dispatching or fulfilling orders
{% endhint %}

### **2️⃣ Auto (Every 2hrs)**

Automate your selected process to run **every two hours** in the background.

<figure><img src="/files/xO1RuuitSniQwFkNzxpb" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Usage:**

1. Switch the toggle **ON** to enable scheduled runs.
2. The system will automatically execute the process in the background.
3. Switch **OFF** if you prefer to run the process manually.

***

### **3️⃣ Run History**

The **Run History** table shows detailed logs for all automation runs.

To access:

1. Click the **Run History** button
