Enable and disable two factor authentication
Purpose:
This feature allows users to enhance or simplify the login process by turning Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on or off. When enabled, users must authenticate using a mobile authenticator app (TOTP), providing an additional layer of security during login.
🚀 How to Use
You can manage your 2FA setting anytime from the EzOM Account Portal.
📝 Step-by-Step Guide
1️⃣ Step 1: Login
Sign in to your EzOM account using email and password at https://ezom.app
2️⃣ Step 2: Go to Account Settings
3️⃣ Step 3: Access the Security Tab
In the Account Security card, select the Signing in tab from the left sidebar.
4️⃣ Step 4: Enable or Disable 2FA
Toggle the switch labeled “Enable Two-Factor Authentication” to:
✅ Enable: Turn on 2FA. You’ll be prompted to set up a mobile authenticator (if not already done).
❌ Disable: Turn off 2FA. You will no longer be asked for an OTP code during login.
🔐 Changes apply immediately and impact your next login session.
✅ Notes & Warnings
Enabling 2FA is highly recommended for securing your account.
Disabling 2FA makes login easier but less secure.
Once 2FA is enabled, a mobile device with an authenticator app is required for access.
